Ubisoft have provided details on the PC specifications required to run Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The specs are broken down into different levels of ray tracing (from selective to extended). Performance is listed while using upscaling and dynamic resolution, which may hint that it will run poorly at native resolution.
Minimum (Selective Ray Tracing)
- Resolution/FPS (upscaling & dynamic res): 1080P at 30 FPS
- Visual Settings: Low
- CPU: Intel Core i7 8700k / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB / AMD RX 5700 8GB / Intel A580 8GB (REBAR)
Recommended (Standard Ray Tracing)
- Resolution/FPS (upscaling & dynamic res): 1440P at 60 FPS
- Visual Settings: High
- CPU: Intel Core i5 11600k / AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
- GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070 Super 12GB / AMD RX 7800 XT 16GB
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will have an in-game benchmark for performance analysis. It will support ultra-wide, XeSS 2, DLSS 3.7, and FSR 3.1 upscaling tech. It also has uncapped framerate and deep customization options. Assassin’s Creed Shadows will release on March 20, 2025. See the full spec breakdown in the image below.
