Rockstar Games is reportedly looking to incorporate user-generated content similar to Roblox and Fortnite for Grand Theft Auto VI.
The developer has apparently already met with a number of major Roblox and Fortnite creatures about the possibility of building custom experiences in GTA VI, with Rockstar reportedly planning to allow the game’s environment and assets to be modified by creators to implement their own IP into the sandbox.
According to a report on Digiday, conversations between Rockstar Games and content creators have remained “relatively open-ended.”

It’s unclear exactly how creators would benefit from bringing their IP and audiences into GTA 6, beyond the exposure that would come from having a presence inside one of the world’s most popular gaming properties.
Take-Two reiterated during its latest financial results last week that Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release in Fall 2025, with CEO Strauss Zelnick revealing that he expects the game to result in a major spike in hardware sales.
