A beloved open world crime drama is a whopping 85% off in a limited-time PS Store deal, and we highly recommend it. It was only recently that PS3’s Sleeping Dogs made the news again, but it wasn’t for a good reason. This time, however, we bring a little bit of positive news in that Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition, which released on the PS4, is just $4.49.
Sleeping Dogs PS Store deal offers excellent value for money
Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition includes all 24 DLC including story content Year of the Snake and horror-themed content Nightmare in North Point. The PS4 release was reworked and remastered, and holds up well on the PS5.
This is excellent value for folks who’ve never played the original or those who never got their hands on the DLC. The offer is only available until January 30.
Unfortunately, despite being positively received by critics and fans alike, Sleeping Dogs fell victim to what many say are Square Enix’s unreasonable expectations. The game sold millions of copies but, like 2013’s Tomb Raider, was considered a commercial disappointment.
Developer United Front Games has since been shut down. A planned sequel as well as a movie have also been scrapped.
